The translation in Bahasa Indonesia is enough<br>\nto enable the viewers to follow the dialog and understand the<br>\nstory. But we have no objection to the dubbing of imported films<br>\nwhich are not in English as the government might have special<br>\nreason for that.<\/p>\n<p>Shows like White Fang (RCTI), Lois &amp; Clark, Viper (SCTV) and<br>\nReturn to Eden (RCTI) and a number of non-serial films which<br>\nbroadcast using the bilingual system, are aired and dubbed. Alas,<br>\nwith my one-language system, I have no choice but follow the<br>\nIndonesian-dubbed films. With the bilingual-system TV set one can<br>\nchoose either the English or the Indonesian version. I am sure<br>\nmost of the viewers would choose the non-dubbed films.<\/p>\n<p>I'm not saying that I do not like dubbing itself but, in the<br>\ndubbing process, when a car door is shut, no sound is produced.<br>\nThe sound of a footstep or a bomb exploding also vanishes.
