The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency\n(BMKG) has predicted that this year\u2019s dry season will be drier and\nlonger.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Semarang City Local Disaster Mitigation Agency\n(BPBD), Endro P Martanto, stated that the dry season is predicted to hit\nSemarang starting in early May 2026. He said the dry season is estimated\nto last until September 2026.<\/p>\n<p>According to Endro, several areas in Semarang are at risk of drought,\nincluding Rowosari, Jabungan, Wonosari, and Cepoko.
