        "content": "<p>PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), or Pelindo, in cooperation with the\nNational Narcotics Agency (BNN), has held drug prevention education\nunder the title \u201cSobat ANANDA BERSINAR: Merdeka Tanpa Narkoba\u201d (ANANDA\nBERSINAR Friends: Independent Without Drugs). The programme, aimed at\nstrengthening the resilience of the younger generation, reached 900\nstudents from nine schools in Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, and\nMakassar.<\/p>\n<p>In Jakarta, the socialisation activity took place at SMAN 18 North\nJakarta, which is located in Pelindo\u2019s ring 1 operational area in\nTanjung Priok. Through this agenda, students were provided with an\nin-depth understanding of the dangers of narcotics abuse and how to\nbuild a positive social environment.<\/p>\n<p>Pelindo\u2019s Group Head of Corporate Sustainability, Usman Saroni,\nexplained that the company\u2019s concern is not only focused on the smooth\noperation of ports, but also on improving the quality of life of the\nsurrounding communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSafeguarding the port is not only about operational security, but\nalso ensuring that the young generation around it is protected from the\nthreat of drugs. Through collaboration with BNN, we are taking\npreventive steps directly to schools to build awareness from an early\nage,\u201d said Usman in Jakarta on Thursday (27\/8\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, the Director of Advocacy of BNN RI, Tatiek\nSufahriani, stressed the importance of fortifying adolescents from the\ninfluence of these illicit substances to ensure the sustainability of\nthe nation\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBuilding a generation that is healthy, productive, and able to\nprotect itself from negative influences is a very important investment\nfor Indonesia\u2019s future,\u201d said Tatiek.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of SMAN 18 Jakarta, Mutmainah, also welcomed the interactive\nsocialisation and expressed hope that this kind of education can shape\nstudents\u2019 character to be drug-free, responsible, and confident.<\/p>",
