        "content": "<p>Drug evidence destroyed<\/p>\n<p>TANGERANG (JP): The Tangerang Prosecutor's Office destroyed on<br>\nFriday a large amount of marijuana, heroin, shabu-shabu (crystal<br>\nmethampetamine) and ecstasy pills which had been seized as<br>\nevidence for various court cases in the regency.<\/p>\n<p>Officials burned at the small ceremony 55.04 kilograms of<br>\nmarijuana, 3.47 kilograms of heroin, 43.93 kilograms of shabu-<br>\nshabu, 6,812 ecstasy pills and 8,125 pills of deazepam, a cheaper<br>\nform of ecstasy.<\/p>\n<p>Tangerang Prosecutor's Office chief Poerwosoediro said<br>\nthe drugs were confiscated as evidence for 73 marijuana cases, 35<br>\nheroin cases and 28 shabu-shabu and ecstasy cases.<\/p>\n<p>The verdicts for all these cases were handed down by the<br>\nTangerang District Court from August 2000 to July 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Purwosoediro, however, refused to estimate the value of the<br>\ndrugs.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at the official burning was Tangerang District<br>\nCourt chief Haogoaro Hareffa, Soekarno-Hatta Airport customs and<br>\nexcise office chief Jusuf Indarto, Tangerang Police chief Sr.<br>\nComr.
