        "content": "<p>Driver jailed for 4 years<\/p>\n<p>PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: A driver whose negligence<br>\ncaused the death of nine passengers in the Central Kalimantan<br>\ncapital of Palangka was sentenced in the Palangka Raya District<br>\nCourt on Monday to four-years jail.<\/p>\n<p>The sentence imposed on Nur Ilhami, 18, was heavier than that<br>\ndemanded by the prosecution who sought a three-year jail term.<\/p>\n<p>Judges Yufery said Nur was found guilty of negligence causing<br>\nthe deaths of nine of his 13 passengers, including for children,<br>\nand injuries to the remainder.<\/p>\n<p>The crash took place on July 28, 2001, at 01:00 p.m. on Jalan<br>\nCilik Riwut, 36 kilometers from Palangka Raya.<\/p>\n<p>Nur told the court he could accept the verdict and would not<br>\nappeal against it. --Antara<\/p>",
