        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Domestic workers (PRT) are entitled to social\nsecurity for health and employment as regulated in the newly approved\nHouse of Representatives Law on the Protection of Domestic Workers\n(PPRT).<\/p>\n<p>Social security for health and employment constitutes two of the 14\nrights for domestic workers outlined in Article 15 paragraph (1) of the\nPPRT Law draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntitled to social security for health in accordance with applicable\nlaws and regulations,\u201d states Article 15 paragraph (1) letter g of the\nconfirmed PPRT Law draft, Tuesday (21\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntitled to social security for employment in accordance with\napplicable laws and regulations,\u201d states Article 15 paragraph (1) letter\nh of the PPRT Law draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe social security health contributions as referred to in Article\n15 letter g shall be provided to PRT as aid recipients whose\ncontributions are covered by the Central Government or Regional\nGovernment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,\u201d states\nArticle 16 paragraph (1) of the PPRT Law draft.<\/p>\n<p>However, for domestic workers who do not qualify as aid recipients\n(PBI) for BPJS Health, their health social security contributions shall\nbe borne by the employer. This is regulated in Article 16 paragraph (2)\nof the PPRT Law draft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurther provisions regarding the social security health\ncontributions as referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2), as well as the\nsocial security employment contributions as referred to in paragraph\n(3), shall be regulated by Government Regulation,\u201d states Article 16\nparagraph (4) of the PPRT Law draft.<\/p>\n<p>The following are the 14 rights of domestic workers as regulated in\nArticle 15 paragraph (1) of the PPRT Law draft:<\/p>",
