        "content": "<p>The trial for the defamation case concerning the alleged fake diploma\nof Indonesia\u2019s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), with Roy Suryo as a\ndefendant, will be held at the East Jakarta District Court (PN Jaktim).\nRoy\u2019s first hearing is still awaiting the decision on a pretrial motion\nhe filed at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the first session of the Roy Suryo case, it has not yet been set\nby the panel of judges because it is still waiting for the relevant\npretrial application at PN Jaksel,\u201d said PN Jaktim public relations\nofficer Immanuel Tarigan to reporters on Wednesday (24\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Immanuel stated that the first trial for Dr Tifauzia\nTyassuma will be held on Thursday (2\/7). The session is scheduled to\ncommence at 09.00 WIB. \u201cFor the Tifauzia Tyassuma case, the first\nhearing is on Thursday, 2 July 2026, at 09.00 WIB, in the main courtroom\nof Prof Kusuma Atmadja at PN Jaktim,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Roy\u2019s case is registered under number 300\/Pid.sus\/2026\/PN Jkt Tim,\nwhile Dr Tifa\u2019s case is registered under number 301\/Pid.Sus\/2026\/PN Jkt\nTim. Both cases will be presided over by chief judge Christina\nEndarwati, with members Rudi Rafli Siregar and Mathilda Chrystina\nKatarina.<\/p>\n<p>For information, Roy\u2019s pretrial lawsuit regarding the search and\narrest was filed on Monday (22\/6) with case registration number\n99\/Pid.Pra\/2026\/PN JKT.SEL. The first defendant in this pretrial is the\nGovernment of the Republic of Indonesia cq the Metro Jaya Regional\nPolice Chief cq the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Metro\nJaya Police cq the Head of Sub-Directorate for State Security cq the\nInvestigation Team, and the second defendant is the Government of the\nRepublic of Indonesia cq the Attorney General cq the Deputy Attorney\nGeneral for General Crimes at the Attorney General\u2019s Office cq the Head\nof the High Prosecutor\u2019s Office for DKI Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The petition for this pretrial motion has not yet been displayed. The\nfirst hearing for Roy\u2019s pretrial lawsuit will be held on Monday (29\/6),\nadjudicated by sole judge I Ketut Darpawan.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Dr Tifa did not file a pretrial motion. This was confirmed\nby South Jakarta District Court public relations officer Halida\nRahardhini. \u201cAs of today, there is no registration in the SIPP of PN\nSouth Jakarta for her (Dr Tifa) filing a pretrial motion,\u201d said Halida\nwhen confirmed on Wednesday (24\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Metro Jaya Police Response<\/p>\n<p>The Metro Jaya Regional Police responded regarding Roy Suryo\u2019s\npretrial lawsuit concerning the search and arrest filed at the South\nJakarta District Court. The Legal Division of Metro Jaya Police stated\nthat it has not yet received a summons letter regarding the first\nhearing of the pretrial lawsuit. \u201cWe have not received the letter yet,\u201d\nsaid Head of the Legal Division of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner\nAbrianto Pardede, as reported by Antara on Wednesday (24\/6).\nNevertheless, Metro Jaya Police stated it is ready to follow the course\nof the legal process. \u201cOnce we have the letter of authority, we will\ncertainly attend,\u201d said Abrianto.<\/p>",
