        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 Edy Wuryanto, a member of Commission IX of the House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI), has urged the new leadership of the National\nNutrition Agency (BGN) to promptly open communication with partners\nregarding the fate of Nutrition Service Fulfilment Units (SPPG) that\nhave already been built.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto appointed Sudaryono as the definitive Head\nof BGN after Nanik S. Deyang stepped down from the post.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a number of SPPG facilities have yet to begin operations\nbecause they have not received confirmation of their partnerships with\nBGN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere must be clear communication. If they are indeed still needed,\nthe partnerships should be confirmed immediately,\u201d said Edy on Sunday,\n26 July 2026.<\/p>\n<p>However, if in certain regions the number of SPPG facilities or\nkitchens exceeds the number of beneficiaries, Edy asked the government\nto provide a solution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut if it turns out the number of kitchens exceeds the need, the\ngovernment needs to find a good solution,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Sudaryono affirmed that governance reform would be his top\npriority after being officially inaugurated by President Prabowo\nSubianto.<\/p>\n<p>He acknowledged that there remain fundamental problems in the\nagency\u2019s management system that must be addressed immediately,\nparticularly concerning transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>He did not deny that the National Nutrition Agency still faces\nsignificant homework.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, a number of the problems that have emerged stem\nfrom weak governance and a lack of transparency in programme\nimplementation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe acknowledge that there are indeed things that must be corrected,\u201d\nsaid Sudaryono at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 22\nJuly 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn fact, we ourselves have witnessed that violations have occurred\nin terms of non-transparent governance, which at its core is a\ngovernance issue,\u201d he continued.<\/p>",
