"summary": "The South Jakarta District Court has partially granted a pre-trial motion by DPR Secretary General Indra Iskandar, nullifying his suspect status in a corruption case involving the procurement of furnishings for legislators' official residences in the 2020 fiscal year. The court ruled that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) acted arbitrarily in designating him as a suspect without meeting minimal evidentiary requirements or examining him beforehand. This decision highlights procedural flaws in KPK's investigations and could impact ongoing anti-corruption efforts related to state losses estimated in the tens of billions of rupiah from alleged price markups in a Rp 120 billion project.",
