        "content": "<p>Jakarta - A member of Commission III of the House of Representatives\nfrom the NasDem faction, Rudianto Lallo, criticised the Corruption\nEradication Commission\u2019s (KPK) decision to switch the detention status\nof former Minister of Religious Affairs (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas to\nhouse arrest.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rudianto, this step raises public questions because it\nwas done just about a week after the detention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy not from the start, no need to detain him, it would be better\nnot to detain him than to detain him and then transfer it secretly like\nthat after a week,\u201d said Rudianto when contacted by Kompas.com on Monday\n(23\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Rudianto also highlighted the transparency aspect in the detention\ntransfer process, which he assessed was not done openly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen he was designated as a suspect, it was publicised with great\nfanfare using an orange vest.
