        "content": "<p>The House of Representatives (DPR) held its 14th plenary session to\nmark the closure of the third sitting period of the 2025-2026\nparliamentary year. A total of 293 DPR members were in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>The session took place in the plenary hall of the parliamentary\ncomplex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (19 February 2026). The\nplenary was chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani.<\/p>\n<p>Also present were other members of the DPR leadership: Deputy\nSpeakers Saan Mustopa, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, and\nSari Yuliati. Puan began proceedings by reading out the attendance\nrecord.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to records from the DPR Secretariat General, the\nattendance register at the start of today\u2019s plenary session has been\nsigned by 293 members, with 26 members on leave, out of 579 DPR members.\nAll factions in the DPR were represented,\u201d Puan said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccordingly, a quorum has been achieved, and with the words\nbismillahirrahmanirrahim, allow us as the House leadership to open the\n14th plenary session of the third sitting period of the 2025-2026\nparliamentary year on Thursday, 19 February 2026, and we declare it open\nto the public,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>The agenda for the day\u2019s plenary session was the formal closure of\nthe sitting period.
