        "content": "<p>DPR Commission VI member Mufti Anam has called on the government to\npublicly disclose the targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for\nPT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI).<\/p>\n<p>Mufti stated that clarity on DSI\u2019s direction and success metrics must\nbe outlined before the government mandates all export activities through\nthe agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Before enforcing mandatory export operations through DSI, the\ngovernment should first explain to the public what the targets and\nsuccess metrics are,\u2019 Mufti said when questioned on Monday, 1 June\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>The PDI Perjuangan politician argued that the public has the right to\nknow the detailed objectives of DSI\u2019s establishment, including the\nestimated foreign exchange leakage the government aims to curb through\nthis policy.<\/p>\n<p>Questioning Potential Foreign Exchange Leakage<\/p>\n<p>Mufti questioned the extent to which export under-invoicing has\naffected government revenue. He stated the government must present\nconcrete data for the public to understand the policy\u2019s urgency.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018What is the actual value of export under-invoicing that has\noccurred? How much foreign exchange leakage is the government aiming to\nclose?\u2019 Mufti said.<\/p>\n<p>He also called on the government to clarify the additional revenue\ntargets DSI aims to achieve and the timeline for their completion.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018How much additional revenue is targeted? Within how many years must\nthis be achieved? The KPIs must be clear and measurable before DSI is\nimplemented,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>Mufti stressed that transparency in targets is crucial for objective\npolicy evaluation and to prevent controversies among the public and\nbusiness stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Warning Against Excessive Power<\/p>\n<p>In addition to demanding clarity on targets and KPIs, Mufti cautioned\nthe government to be cautious in granting DSI extensive powers.<\/p>\n<p>He warned that without robust oversight, DSI could become a dominant\nnew force in the national export chain.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We also caution the government to be careful that DSI does not\nevolve into a superpower within our export chain,\u2019 Mufti said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that excessive powers without strong control mechanisms risk\nfuture abuse of authority.<\/p>",
