Maharani stressed that today\u2019s international cooperation framework is\nbuilt on shared norms and commitments, ranging from economic standards\nmeasuring competitiveness and sustainability, to social values upholding\nhuman dignity, and democratic principles and human rights as a civilised\npolitical foundation.<\/p>\n
In this context, she said, development should not be measured solely\nby numerical growth, but by the quality of human life and social justice\nexperienced by the people.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause we live in an interdependent world, Indonesia must\nstrengthen national resilience and competitiveness to secure a strong\nbargaining position in the global order,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
She added that the DPR, through its constitutional functions, has\nresponded to strategic issues, including integrity in national economic\nmanagement, the need for legal reform, enhanced social protection in\nhealthcare, and the conduct of foreign policy along the principle of\nfree and active politics.<\/p>\n
