Jakarta \u2013 The Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPD\nRI), Sultan Baktiar Najamudin, has confirmed that all preparations for\nthe MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session commemorating the 81st\nAnniversary of the Republic of Indonesia are proceeding optimally. He\nstated that simulations and full dress rehearsals have been completed\nand are ready to be executed. \u201cEverything has been prepared, from the\nfirst to the final rehearsals. The full dress rehearsal has just\nconcluded, and preparations are 90 percent complete, involving all\nstakeholders. The event rundown has also been well measured,\u201d said\nSultan, accompanied by DPD RI Deputy Chairman Tamsil Linrung, after\ninspecting the readiness at the Nusantara Building of the Parliament\nComplex in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
As the host of this year\u2019s event, the DPD RI is carrying the tagline\n\u2018Strong Regions, Sovereign Indonesia,\u2019 which aligns with the national\ntheme.
