Wiranto<br>\nencouraged the public yesterday to actively take part in<br>\nmaintaining security and order in the city.<\/p>\n<p>\"Don't be afraid to report crime or ask for help from the<br>\ncommunity security men, grouped in Mitra Babinsa, whenever there<br>\nare threats from criminals,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The general was speaking to 2,000 members of Mitra Babinsa, a<br>\ngroup of people who voluntarily help security officers in<br>\nmaintaining public order and stability.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday's meeting aimed to brief Mitra Babinsa members about<br>\nsecurity policies in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Wiranto urged the participants, from all over the city, to<br>\ncontinually monitor developments in their neighborhoods and<br>\nreport any irregularities to security officers at the earliest<br>\nopportunity.
