Dongsuh operates here<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): PT Dongsuh Kolibindo Securities, a Korean-
\nIndonesian joint venture, said that it has been granted a license
\nby the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Bapepam) to operate in
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
The company is a joint venture between Dongsuh Securities Co.
\nLtd., a major Korean securities company established in 1953, and
\nPT Kobilindo owned by the Enseval Group, which is registered on
\nthe Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX).<\/p>\n
The joint venture said Saturday that with the Bapepam license,
\nwhich was obtained on April 17, it is now authorized to provide
\nfinancial analysis and guidance to Indonesian companies and
\nindividual investors.<\/p>\n
\"We believe that the stock market cannot be developed without
\nactive participation of individual investors. Therefore, we will
\ngive priority to the expansion of the domestic investor base,\"
\nthe company announced.<\/p>\n
The company also said that it has set up an investor gallery
\nat the Graha Irama Building in Jakarta to help investors with
\nreal time information about stock price movements on the JSX.<\/p>\n
The gallery was officially opened last Friday by Bapepam's
