Made Sugitha of the University of Andalas said the<br>\ntraditional dadih was found to contain the streptococcuslactis<br>\nand lactobacilus acidophilus bacteria which are effective against<br>\ncancer and cholesterol.<\/p>\n<p>Dadih is made of water buffalo and cow&apos;s milk.<\/p>\n<p>Antara quoted Made as saying that an experiment in February,<br>\nfunded by the Ministry of Education and Culture, found that lab<br>\nrats tested positively when given the traditional food.<\/p>\n<p>He further explained that the lactobacilus acidophilus<br>\nbacteria can live inside the human intestines and help digestion<br>\nof food and eliminate the harmful pathogen bacteria.
