This target is higher than the\nachievements recorded during Peparnas 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully, we can improve our ranking from the top three in 2024; at\nthe very least, we aim for the top two or the overall championship at\nPeparnas 2028,\u201d said the Chairman of NPCI DKI Jakarta, Yasin Onasie,\nduring the 2026 NPCI DKI Jakarta Provincial Working Meeting (Rakerprov)\nin Central Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this target, various preparations are being undertaken,\nincluding strengthening the training of all competing athletes and\nproviding them with necessary facilities. Additionally, the NPCI DKI\nJakarta Provincial Working Meeting was held as part of the strategic\nefforts leading towards Peparnas 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the sporting disciplines that Jakarta\u2019s athletes will\nparticipate in, Yasin mentioned that 15 out of the total 19 disciplines\ncontested in Peparnas 2028 are currently targeted. \u201cThere are currently\n15 sporting disciplines that we will participate in at NPCI DKI. There\nare 19 in total, but there are four disciplines we have not yet\ndeveloped due to budget constraints, specifically team-based sports,\u201d\nYasin explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to establish a roadmap so that the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment can allocate the budget effectively.
