        "content": "<p>The Jakarta Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small\nand Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) is optimising the development of small\nand medium enterprises (SMEs) through the Jakarta Entrepreneur\n(Jakpreneur) ecosystem to help them advance and achieve urban economic\nresilience.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the DKI Jakarta PPKUKM Department, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo,\nstated that through the optimisation of Jakpreneur, the DKI Jakarta\nProvincial Government aims to ensure two major transformations occur for\nJakarta\u2019s SMEs, namely digitalisation and global standardisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJakarta\u2019s SMEs must be able to level up. SME products must have\ninternationally recognised quality, packaging, and management\nstandards,\u201d Ratu said during a podcast themed \u201cOptimising SME\nDevelopment through the Jakpreneur Ecosystem\u201d monitored in Jakarta on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>She mentioned that the other desired transformation is self-reliance\nand urban economic resilience. To that end, she hopes that through\nmeasurable mentoring, SMEs will be able to adapt to the dynamic changes\nin the landscape of a global city economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this socialisation, I ask all levels of supervisors,\nmentors, and SME actors to optimise all facilities available within the\nJakpreneur ecosystem,\u201d Ratu said.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, SMEs are the backbone and driver of Jakarta\u2019s\neconomy, necessitating faster, smarter, and more integrated methods in\nSME development through Jakpreneur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJakpreneur is not just an ordinary programme, but an ecosystem. It\nis all integrated with digital technology and involves cross-sector\ncollaboration,\u201d Ratu revealed.<\/p>\n<p>As of 17 June 2026, a total of 421,688 Jakpreneur members have\njoined, out of approximately 1.3 million micro, small, and medium\nenterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta. Of the 421,688 Jakpreneur members,\n300,668 have businesses divided into three main sectors: culinary (73.38\npercent), fashion (8.94 percent), crafts (3.40 percent), and others\n(14.28 percent).<\/p>",
