        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is\nensuring readiness to welcome Eid al-Adha by emphasising the management\nof sacrificial offerings that is orderly, hygienic, and environmentally\nfriendly. Various strategic steps are being taken to ensure that the\nimplementation of the sacrifices runs optimally across the entire\ncapital region. \u201cIn principle, we are preparing as best as possible. Not\nonly in terms of the needs for sacrificial animals, but also how the\norganisation is carried out, starting from preparations for Eid prayers,\nthe slaughtering process, to the distribution of meat to the community,\u201d\nsaid Assistant for Economy and Finance of the DKI Provincial\nSecretariat, Suharini Eliawati, in Jakarta on Thursday. She also\nemphasised the importance of using environmentally friendly containers\nin the distribution of sacrificial meat. This, she said, is one of\nPemprov DKI\u2019s efforts to reduce plastic waste during Eid al-Adha. In\naddition, Pemprov DKI is encouraging sacrificial animal slaughterers to\nhave certification as halal slaughter experts (Juleha). This step is\nconsidered crucial to ensure that the slaughtering process meets syariah\nstandards and health requirements. Supervision is carried out in layers,\nfrom the regional level to the points of sale for sacrificial animals.\n\u201cUsually, supervision starts one month in advance. Colleagues in the\nregions will go down to ensure the health of the animals and the\nfeasibility of distribution,\u201d Suharini revealed. She also assured that\nPemprov DKI has coordinated with supplying regions, including Lampung\nand Central Java, given that Jakarta still relies on supplies from\noutside the area to meet the needs for cattle, buffalo, and goat\nsacrificial animals. \u201cCoordination with supplying regions has been\ncarried out.
