        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Civil Registry and Population Records Office\n(Dukcapil) of DKI Jakarta will open population administration services\non the national holidays and collective leave days of 14-15 May 2026\nfrom 09:00 to 13:00 to facilitate residents who have limited time to\nhandle population documents.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Dukcapil DKI Jakarta, Denny Wahyu Haryanto, stated in Jakarta\non Wednesday that services will be available at the Dukcapil DKI Jakarta\ncounters and the Sub-District Civil Registry Offices (Sudin) in the five\nadministrative cities and the Thousand Islands Administrative\nRegency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope Jakarta residents can take advantage of these two days of\nholiday services, especially for 16- and 17-year-old students who have\nnot yet recorded their beginner KTP-el. Also for residents who already\nhave a KTP-el but have not activated their Digital Population Identity,\u201d\nsaid Denny.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that this policy is also a follow-up to Circular Letter\nNo.\u00a0400.8\/4780\/DUKCAPIL dated 12 May 2026 from the Directorate General\nof Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding Dukcapil Services\non National Holidays and Collective Leave on 14 and 15 May 2026 to\ndeliver PRIMA services (Professional, Responsive, Innovative, Serving\nwith heart, and Accountable) implemented simultaneously across\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Residents aged 16 and above can already record electronic ID cards,\nstarting from facial recording (photo), biometric recording, eye retina,\nand signature at the Sub-District Civil Registry Office counters in\ntheir domicile city\/administrative district, bringing their family\ncard.<\/p>\n<p>These holiday services can also be used for activating Digital\nPopulation Identity (IKD) because activation requires physical presence\nat the counter for biometric verification and scanning the personal data\nbarcode through the resident\u2019s device.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProviding service time on holidays will accelerate the coverage of\nIKD users in Jakarta as a smart city,\u201d said Denny.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the Clean Population Data for the second semester of 2025,\nthe population of DKI Jakarta aged 16 and 17 in 2026 who can record\nKTP-el or are required to record KTP-el totals 199,653 people.<\/p>\n<p>As of today, the population that has recorded beginner KTP-el numbers\n38,079 people or 19.07 percent.<\/p>",
