        "content": "<p>Dispute affects study<\/p>\n<p>From Suara Karya<\/p>\n<p>As a father of a student attending the National University<br>\nlocated in Ragunan, South Jakarta, I felt very sad and angry when<br>\nI saw a number of the university's security guards forcibly take<br>\ncontrol of the laboratory. They barred students from entering the<br>\nlaboratory to do any kind of activity.<\/p>\n<p>I know the two parties, led by Salim Usman and Iskandar<br>\nAlisyahbana respectively, are disputing over the right to control<br>\nthe university's foundation, but neither of them should take such<br>\nsilly actions.<\/p>\n<p>The two parties can continue their dispute but they should not<br>\nstop the students from attending their studies at the university.<\/p>\n<p>As both parties have made appeals to the Jakarta high court,<br>\nthey should wait until the court has made its decision.<\/p>\n<p>I appeal to the Jakarta based Coordinator of Private Higher<br>\nLearning Institutions and the minister of education and culture<br>\nto pay serious attention to the problem because it could affect<br>\nthe students' studies at the university.<\/p>\n<p>SUHARSONO HADIKUSUMO<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta<\/p>",
