Discussion on nationhood<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Transmigration Siswono Yudohusodo is
\nscheduled to give the keynote speech at an open discussion under
\nthe theme of "Nationhood Perspective on Ongoing Development" held
\nby Bina Swadaya Foundation on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The theme was chosen under the consideration that national
\ndevelopment should not only be improved but also continued, DE.
\nSusapto, an executive of the foundation, said yesterday.<\/p>\n
"The nationhood perspective should bear the notion that the
\nyoung generation, as heirs of the old generation, should include
\nproblems to be encountered by the next generation on their
\ncurrent agenda," he said.<\/p>\n
Other speakers at the discussion, which will be held at the
\nfoundation's training course campus in Cimanggis, Bogor, will be
\nChristianto Wibisono of the Indonesian Business Data Center and
\nKartono Muhammad, the former chairman of Indonesian Medical
\nAssociation.<\/p>\n
Susapto said that the discussion is part of various
\nactivities, ranging from visiting the heroes cemetery to donating
\nblood, held by the foundation in conjunction with the
\ncommemoration of the 50th anniversary of Indonesia's
