This was stated during a public hearing (RDPU)\ndiscussing the Judges\u2019 Positions Bill (RUU Jabatan Hakim) on Tuesday\n(31\/3\/2026). \u201cWe are very concerned that those in judicial positions,\nincluding judges and their support teams, can maximally perform their\nrespective duties. Because their welfare is fulfilled, because their\nsecurity is maintained,\u201d said Habiburokhman during the RDPU, quoted from\nthe YouTube broadcast of TVR Parlemen, on Tuesday. In the RDPU,\nHabiburokhman ensured that Commission III gathered various aspirations\nfrom parties within the judicial environment. \u201cWe want to maximise this\nAct to address the complaints so far from our colleagues, yes. What are\nthe complaints so far in carrying out duties, we will formulate them in\nthe Judges\u2019 Positions Act,\u201d said Habiburokhman. The first is the change\nin judges\u2019 status from civil servants to state officials. Second, the\nSupreme Court (MA) conducts independent recruitment of judges, except\nfor supreme judges. Third, consolidation of regulations related to\njudges\u2019 positions in four judicial environments.
