Djamhari has instructed to<br>\nhis subordinates to take strong action against regency employees<br>\ncaught hanging around during working hours.<\/p>\n<p>The regent is seeking to discipline regency employees as part<br>\nof the current National Discipline Movement recently launched by<br>\nPresident Soeharto.<\/p>\n<p>To make employees come to work on time the regent has<br>\ninstalled four special machines which can prevent absent workers<br>\nfrom having their friends sign their attendance cards.<\/p>\n<p>Djamhari said the system was also intended to increase the<br>\nemployees' work ethic.
