        "content": "<p>Disabled rally against KPU<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Dozens of people with physical disabilities staged a<br>\nrally on Monday in front of the Constitutional Court to protest<br>\nthe General Elections Commission's (KPU) health criteria for<br>\npresidential candidates, which they said was discriminatory.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters, part of the Disabled Anti-discrimination<br>\nNational Front, said KPU ruling No. 26\/2004 on registration<br>\nguidelines for presidential candidates and ruling No. 37\/2004 on<br>\ncandidate health examinations discriminated against the<br>\nhandicapped.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the protesters said the rulings had stripped<br>\nthem of their political rights and held the KPU, the Indonesian<br>\nDoctors Association (IDI) and the Supreme Court responsible. --<br>\nJP<\/p>",
