        "content": "<p>The Directorate General of Immigration under the Ministry of Law and\nHuman Rights has prepared a seamless immigration process to facilitate\nthe return of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in 2026. Director General\nHendarsam Marantoko confirmed on Monday in Jakarta that the seamless\nimmigration corridor will be available at several Hajj debarkation\npoints across the country. \u2018In supporting the return of Indonesian Hajj\npilgrims in 2026, we have prepared a special seamless immigration\nservice through corridor gates at various Hajj debarkation points,\u2019 he\nsaid. He explained that the system allows for faster and more efficient\nimmigration checks as data is processed in advance, meaning pilgrims\nwill not need to queue at conventional checks or autogates upon arrival\nin Indonesia. At Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the corridor\ngates are located in Terminal 2, which handles Hajj pilgrim arrivals by\nkloter. Immigration officers and mobile units will also be on standby to\nensure smooth processing of pilgrims\u2019 arrivals in 2026. In Surabaya, the\ncorridor gates have been relocated to Sukolilo Hajj Asrama and are\nintegrated with the immigration system to support pilgrim services.\n\u2018Following today\u2019s inspection, all preparations for Hajj debarkation are\nready, including personnel, inspection facilities, and supporting\nsystems,\u2019 Hendarsam added. In cases of lost travel documents, the\nDirectorate General of Immigration will coordinate with relevant parties\nto ensure swift handling and prevent delays in pilgrims\u2019 return. The\nseamless immigration process, a biometric system allowing international\narrivals to pass through immigration checks without stopping, has been\noperational since 2025 as part of the government\u2019s All Indonesia\nprogramme to streamline international arrival procedures and enhance\nairport efficiency. Meanwhile, Indonesian Hajj pilgrims have begun\nreturning home. The first kloter from Batam Embarkation (BTH-1) departed\nfrom King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah on Sunday, 31 May,\nmarking the first phase of repatriation. According to the 2026 Hajj\nTravel Plan (RPH), the second wave of pilgrims will begin their return\nprocess from 16 to 30 June 2026 from Medina. They are scheduled to\ndepart from Mecca to Medina on 7 June 2026, staying in Medina for\napproximately nine days before flying back to Indonesia.<\/p>",
