The Beijing Daxing-Bali route is scheduled to\noperate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This\nmakes Beijing the fifth city in mainland China to have a direct flight\nconnection to Bali, after Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen, and Chengdu.\nGeneral Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Nugroho\nJati, expressed gratitude and appreciation to all parties for the\noperation of this new route. The inaugural flight departed from Beijing\nand arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Saturday\nevening. The flight, MU889, was serviced by an Airbus A330 aircraft. A\ntotal of 287 passengers departed from Beijing Daxing International\nAirport at 15.43 local time and landed in Bali at 22.55 WITA. The\naircraft then operated the return flight, Bali-Beijing Daxing, on Sunday\nat 00.48 WITA as flight MU890, carrying the same number of passengers.\nNugroho stated that the direct Beijing-Bali flight will further\nstrengthen air connectivity and enhance Bali\u2019s competitiveness as a\nworld-class tourist destination, especially as China is the\nsecond-largest source of foreign tourists to Bali. Up to the first half\nof 2026, the number of Chinese tourists visiting the Island of the Gods\nreached approximately 297,000. He expressed confidence that the new\nroute will ease accessibility and encourage growth in tourist visits\nfrom China to Bali. Beijing Daxing officially becomes the 42nd\ninternational route served by I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport\nthrough direct flights.
