        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Molly Prabawaty, Expert Staff to the Minister of\nCommunication and Digital for Public and Mass Communication (KPM),\nbelieves technology can help introduce Indonesian fashion and\ntraditional textiles to the global stage.<\/p>\n<p>Molly said the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) is\nproviding support through the strengthening of digital technology,\nparticularly communications, by utilising various digital platforms to\npromote events showcasing designers\u2019 work and the richness of the\narchipelago\u2019s traditional textiles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough digital platforms, we promote activities that primarily aim\nto elevate Indonesian fashion, even to make it known internationally,\nand it is certainly through digital technology that we do this,\u201d Molly\nsaid after the opening of BTN Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2026 in\nJakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrimarily through digital technology and social media, we hope these\nleading Indonesian fashion products can become well known both at home\nand abroad, and that people can easily own or wear clothing suited to\ntheir needs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs Association\n(APPMI) is staging BTN Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2026 under the theme\n\u201cUlos Simetria\u201d, which champions the Indonesian fashion industry\u2019s\neffort to maintain a balance between tradition and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>BTN IFW 2026, held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan,\nJakarta, from 29 July to 3 August 2026, will feature a wider range of\ndesigners and tenants from across Indonesia, with a programme covering\nfashion shows, trade exhibitions, talk shows, creative forums,\nentertainment performances, and culinary offerings designed to build a\ncompetitive, inclusive, and sustainable fashion ecosystem.<\/p>",
