        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs\n(Kemkomdigi), together with schools, has initiated the Digital Capable\nSchools commitment to support the implementation of Government\nRegulation (PP) Tunas by integrating digital literacy pillars into\nteaching and learning activities at school.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Human Resources Development Agency at Kemkomdigi,\nBonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto, said the commitment aims to build a safe,\nhealthy and productive digital culture for children in the school\nenvironment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe approach is not intended to add new subjects, but rather to\nintegrate digital literacy pillars into learning activities, school\nculture, and character building for students,\u201d Bonifasius told ANTARA in\nJakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, education will be provided for parents through guidance\nmaterials on internet use at home, ensuring continuity between school\nand family.<\/p>\n<p>Kemkomdigi is also forging collaboration with digital platforms,\ncommunities, and various ministries and agencies to deliver digital\nliteracy relevant to children\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>With the integration of digital literacy activities into the learning\nprocess and character building of students, schools have an easily\napplicable reference without adding to the burden of the existing\ncurriculum.<\/p>\n<p>It is understood that Kemkomdigi, together with educators and student\nrepresentatives from eight schools, held the Joint Declaration of\nDigital Capable Schools in commemoration of National Children\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>In the declaration, these schools affirmed their commitment to\nsupporting the implementation of PP Tunas by becoming capable, safe,\nethical and responsible digital citizens.<\/p>\n<p>They also declared their readiness to safeguard personal data, reject\ncyberbullying, and make child protection in the digital space a shared\nresponsibility among schools, families, communities, government, and\nelectronic system operators.<\/p>",
