        "content": "<p>Diarrhea attacks orangutan babies<\/p>\n<p>PALANGKARAYA, Central Kalimantan: At least 18 orangutan babies<br>\nat the Nyaru Menteng Conservation in Arboretum, Central<br>\nKalimantan have been undergoing treatment for diarrhea at the<br>\nDoris Sylvanus General Hospital in Palangkaraya since Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Nyaru Menteng orangutan reintroduction manager Lone Droscher<br>\nNielsen said on Friday that the prolonged drought and haze in the<br>\nprovince had triggered an outbreak of diarrhea in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The orangutan babies, all below three years old, underwent a<br>\nmedical checkup in the hospital, he said.<\/p>\n<p>There are 135 adult and 23 baby orangutans protected in the<br>\nforest.
