DHL wins best service award<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Courier company DHL Worldwide Express has been
\nnamed the \"Best Express Service\" for the 15th consecutive year at
\nthe Asia Freight Industry Awards (AFIA) 2001.<\/p>\n
\"Winning this award is a tremendous accolade which speaks
\nvolumes about our people and their collective effort in making
\nthis company the best in the industry,\" DHL Asia-Pacific chief
\noperating officer Marc Duale said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Mike Fitzpatrick, DHL Indonesia's senior technical advisor,
\nsaid that the company would continue to work hard for its
\ncustomers, striving to improve in order to meet all shipment and
\ndistribution needs.<\/p>\n
He said that DHL Indonesia has opened new service centers in
\nDenpasar, Medan, and Batam, and would soon open more centers in
\nother cities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
AFIA is organized by Cargonews Asia magazine, and awards
\nrecognize performance in 37 categories, as judged by industry
\npeers and customers through individual ballots sent to readers.
