Demand for skilled labour in the housing sector is driving a new
collaboration between developers and vocational education institutions.
The Association of Housing Developers and Marketers in the National
(ASPRUMNAS) signed memorandums of understanding with LP3I Group and
Politeknik LP3I Jakarta to prepare human resources deemed more ready to
enter the property industry.

The MOUs were signed at the ASPRUMNAS Secretariat at Treasury Tower,
SCBD, Jakarta, on Thursday 5 March. The collaboration encompasses
several programmes, ranging from internships for students at association
member companies to the involvement of industry practitioners as
lecturers on campus.

ASPRUMNAS Chairman Muhammad Syawali Priatna said the need for workers
who understand the housing sector was becoming more urgent as the
national property industry grows. ‘The signing of these MoUs is not
merely a ceremony but a strategic effort by ASPRUMNAS to ensure the
property industry is supported by young, competent, and ethically-minded
talent.
