Developer reported for fraud<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: Dozens of residents from Taman Kota housing complex
\nin Sepatan, Tangerang regency, reported developer PT Dharma
\nTunggal Usaha Mandiri to Tangerang Police on Wednesday for fraud.<\/p>\n
Lawyer Chandra Yossy, who represented the residents, said the
\ndevelopment firm's director, Lim Dharmadi, had violated Article
\n378 of the Criminal Code on fraud. The article carries a maximum
\nsentence of four years in jail.<\/p>\n
One of the residents, Suhatma Revindo, said they could not get
\ninto and out of the housing complex because the main access was
\nblocked by someone named Hendra Sujadi. Hendra told the residents
\nthat the developer had yet to pay for his land, used as the
\naccess to the complex.<\/p>\n
Revindo said the residents sent Lima a letter on Aug. 2
\ndemanding that he immediately address the problem, but to no
\navail.<\/p>\n
The development firm's operational director, Hamsir Siregar,
\nsaid his company had discussed the problem with the landowner and
\nthat the road was no longer blocked and could be used as normal.
