        "content": "<p>Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Ribka Haluk conducted a\nsurprise inspection at Yowari Hospital in Jayapura Regency, Papua, on\nFriday 13 March. During the visit, she highlighted the importance of\nimproving the quality of healthcare services for the community.<\/p>\n<p>The inspection was conducted by Ribka following her attendance at a\nmeeting with officials from Jayapura Regency Government at the Jayapura\nBupati Office.<\/p>\n<p>During the inspection, Ribka was accompanied by Jayapura Regent Yunus\nWonda and Jayapura Vice Regent Haris Richard S. Yocku. She directly\nobserved the condition of hospital facilities and the healthcare\nservices provided to the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealthcare services must be maximised going forward. I have also\nconveyed to the Health Minister that serious attention should be given\nto Yowari Hospital. If there are no significant changes within the\ncoming months, there is a possibility of full government takeover\nregarding healthcare services,\u201d Ribka stated.<\/p>\n<p>Ribka also urged the hospital management to immediately undertake\nimprovements to enhance service quality for the community. She asserted\nthat evaluations of hospital leadership could be conducted if they are\nunable to deliver change.<\/p>\n<p>Ribka emphasised that hospitals, as public service facilities, must\nensure every community member receives adequate healthcare services\nwithout patient rejection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe hope is that this hospital can provide better services to our\ncommunity. There must be no more rejections or refusals to serve\npatients,\u201d she affirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Through this inspection, Ribka hoped that healthcare service quality\nat Yowari Hospital would continue to improve. In this way, the community\nof Jayapura Regency can obtain more optimal healthcare services.<\/p>",
