Let\u2019s continue to\npromote drinking milk every day,\u201d he said when met at the commemoration\nof Nusantara Milk Day 2026 here on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted that the low milk consumption among Indonesians, which\ncurrently averages only about one spoonful per day, needs to be\nincreased.<\/p>\n<p>The minister said increasing milk consumption is a crucial step in\nstrengthening the quality of Indonesia\u2019s human resources toward a\nhealthy and productive generation.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that current national milk consumption is still around\n16.2 to 16.8 liters per capita per year, equivalent to approximately one\nspoonful of milk per person per day.<\/p>\n<p>This figure is still far below the ideal requirement to support bone\ngrowth, brain development, and sustainable improvement in public health\nquality.<\/p>\n<p>He said milk contains various essential nutrients such as protein,\ncalcium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, and vitamin D that the body\nneeds.<\/p>\n<p>Nurofiq emphasized that adequate nutritional fulfillment is an\nimportant factor in maintaining the quality of a productive generation\nthat will drive national development in the future.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that increasing milk consumption must become a collective\nmovement involving the government, business sector, academics, and all\nlevels of society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImmediately spark the spirit of drinking milk. It is essential\nbecause until today we are still only at one spoonful (of milk\nconsumption).
