        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Interior Minister (Wamendagri) Akhmad\nWiyagus has emphasised the need for a change in mindset, mentality, and\nmission orientation as the primary foundations for successfully\nimplementing national education policies.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that these three aspects are absolute requirements to\nensure that government priority programmes do not stop at mere\nadministrative formalities but deliver real impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout them, all policies would merely end as programmes and\nformalities marked only by quantitative achievements,\u201d said Wiyagus in\nhis statement in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>In the address, he explained that over the past 18 months, the\nMinistry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has developed\nstrategic foundations titled \u201cquality education for all\u201d through five\nmain policies.<\/p>\n<p>These policies include the revitalisation and digitalisation of more\nthan 288,000 educational units, improving qualifications and welfare for\n150,000 scholarship-recipient teachers by 2026, strengthening character\nthrough the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children programme and ASRI\nschool environments (Safe, Healthy, Clean, Beautiful), measuring quality\nvia Academic Ability Tests and the literacy-numeracy movement, and\nexpanding inclusive services for children with special needs.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he asserted that the implementation of the Deep Learning\napproach as a priority programme can only be realised if the entire\neducation ecosystem moves synergistically.<\/p>\n<p>This ecosystem encompasses schools, families, communities, and media,\nwhich are expected to collaborate with a shared spirit.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that education is fundamentally a process of humanising\nhumans, carried out with sincerity and full of compassion.<\/p>\n<p>In the concluding part of the address, Wiyagus affirmed that\nKemendikdasmen cannot work alone and requires support from various\nparties, from communities, the business world, domestic and\ninternational partners, to local governments.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the role of the Ministry of Home Affairs is crucial\nin synergising relations between the central and local governments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet us strengthen our cooperation to realise quality education for\nall, towards a smart, advanced, and dignified Indonesia,\u201d he\nconcluded.<\/p>",
