        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Foreign Minister (Wamenlu) Arif Havas\nOegroseno said that Indonesia is no longer competing solely on aspects\nof taxes, labour costs, or investment facilities, but also in\nmaintaining investor trust amid increasing global uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p>Delivering a speech at the International Seminar on Debottlenecking\nChannel at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Tuesday, Deputy\nForeign Minister Havas conveyed that global investors face new\nchallenges amid the phenomenon of \u201cweaponization\u201d in various strategic\nsectors, so Indonesia needs to strengthen the trust aspect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that we are no longer just competing on taxes. We are also\nno longer just competing on issues related to facilities, land\navailability, or labour costs. We are now competing on trust,\npredictability, efficiency, resilience, and also strategic position,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Foreign Minister Havas added that in overcoming investment\nbarriers, speed has become a very important aspect, as has the legal\naspect, regulatory coherence, infrastructure readiness, and\ndiplomacy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not see this merely as deregulation. This is more about\ndirection.
