The Deputy Chief of Police made this statement while closing the\nTechnical Work Meeting (Rakernis) of the Polri Criminal Investigation\nDirectorate for 2026 at the Aula Awaloedin Djamin on the 9th floor of\nthe Bareskrim Polri Building in Jakarta on Friday (8\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cPolri must work by involving O2H, namely brain, muscle, and\nespecially heart in legal conscience,\u201d said Komjen Dedi.<\/p>\n
According to him, this concept emphasises that every Polri personnel\nis not only required to have technical capabilities and firmness in law\nenforcement but must also prioritise empathy, justice, and sensitivity\ntowards society.<\/p>\n
He explained that Polri\u2019s law enforcement must present three main\naspects, namely legal certainty, justice, and benefit to society.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, Komjen Dedi also expressed thanks and appreciation\nto all levels of the Polri Criminal Investigation Directorate from\nheadquarters, provincial police, district police, to sub-district police\nfor their dedication and achievements in law enforcement that have\nprovided real benefits to society.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you and appreciation to all levels of the Polri Criminal\nInvestigation Directorate for carrying out law enforcement duties,\nprotection, guidance, and service to the public that have been carried\nout well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He revealed many extraordinary achievements that have been achieved\nby the Polri Criminal Investigation Directorate throughout Indonesia in\nmaintaining security stability and supporting the government\u2019s Asta Cita\nprogramme.<\/p>\n
He also conveyed that President Prabowo Subianto has given\nappreciation for Polri\u2019s contributions in supporting various national\nstrategic programmes, including food security, energy, and other\ngovernment priority programmes.<\/p>\n
In addition, Komjen Dedi also appreciated the implementation of the\n2026 Polri Criminal Investigation Rakernis which featured multi and\ninterdisciplinary speakers with discussions touching on technical,\ntactical, strategic aspects, field experiences, to strengthening the\nintegrity, faith, and piety of personnel.<\/p>\n
The forum group discussion (FGD) and field practice literacy\nconducted during the Rakernis were also seen as important steps in\nstrengthening the quality of law enforcement and addressing various\nfuture task challenges.<\/p>\n
He said that based on the analysis of public complaints in 2026,\npublic attention to law enforcement is still largely at the regional\nlevel from sub-district police, district police to provincial police.\nTherefore, he asked the ranks to strengthen the quality of services and\ninternal supervision.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen district police and sub-district police face obstacles, the\nprovincial police must be present to provide assistance. Likewise, when\nthe provincial police face hurdles, the National Police Headquarters is\nresponsible for providing support,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Komjen Dedi also asked all ranks to increase sensitivity\nin handling women\u2019s and children\u2019s cases (PPA), strengthen investigator\nprofessionalism, and maintain integrity in every law enforcement\nprocess.<\/p>\n
According to him, the caseload handled by investigators is currently\nquite high, averaging 25 to 50 cases per year, so the improvement in the\nquality and quantity of investigators continues to be maximised by the\nBareskrim Polri.<\/p>\n
Ahead of Bhayangkara Day, he also asked all ranks of the Polri\nCriminal Investigation Directorate to maintain the achievements that\nhave been achieved, strengthen professionalism, and minimise all forms\nof violations in all work units.<\/p>\n
