One such effort\nis the construction of the Brimob Command Headquarters (Mako) in\nSoutheast Sulawesi, deemed strategic for maintaining security stability\nwhile supporting national development.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative was marked by the inauguration of the Brimob Mako\nsite and the handover of donated land, led directly by the Deputy Chief\nof Police, Commissioner General of Police Dedi Prasetyo, on Tuesday, 21\nApril 2026, in the Poros Kolaka-Kendari Road area, Kolaka Regency.<\/p>\n<p>The construction benefited from support by the local government and\nprivate parties who donated land in several areas. In Kolaka Regency, a\n10-hectare plot was prepared in Lamedai Village for the construction of\nthe C Pelopor Battalion Mako. Meanwhile, in Konawe Regency, 8 hectares\nare available in Silea Village for the Mako of Company 3, C Pelopor\nBattalion. In Central Buton Regency, a 10-hectare land donation is\nlocated in Wakabanguna Village for the construction of the Mako of\nCompany 3, B Pelopor Battalion.<\/p>\n<p>The presence of this Brimob Mako is considered an important step in\nstrengthening the state\u2019s presence, particularly in safeguarding\ncommunity security and escorting national strategic projects in the\nregion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis land donation will be utilised for the construction of the\nBrimob Mako to strengthen the state\u2019s presence in ensuring security and\nimproving services for the surrounding community, while also supporting\nthe security of National Strategic Projects in the Kolaka area,\nSoutheast Sulawesi,\u201d stated Dedi.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Polri emphasises the importance of cross-sector synergy\nin creating a conducive situation, especially amid increasing\ndevelopment and investment activities in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSynergy between Polri, local government, and the business world is\nkey.
