        "content": "<p>Depok mayor installed<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR (JP): Bogor Regent Eddie Yoso Martadipura installed<br>\nyesterday his former assistant Badrul Kamal as the new Depok<br>\nmayor, replacing Sofyan Safari Hamim.<\/p>\n<p>Sofyan has been serving as a new secretary in the Majalengka<br>\nadministration in West Java for the past 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>Eddie said the replacement of the mayor was aimed at<br>\nrefreshing and further developing Depok in a bid to enable it to<br>\nimprove its services to the public.<\/p>\n<p>\"I hope the new mayor can improve the administration's<br>\nperformance,\" he said at the installation ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded the new mayor about difficult problems he may<br>\nencounter because Depok borders with Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\"Jakarta's problems in social, economic and political affairs<br>\ncan easily affect the township.
