The measure has been implemented to prevent\npotential community tensions and to maintain the security and stability\nof the region against the threat of street brawls.<\/p>\n<p>The prohibition is detailed in a circular issued by Depok Mayor\nnumbered SE 300\/139\/Satpol PP\/PP\/2026 concerning Public Order and\nCommunity Safety ahead of Eid al-Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>Depok Mayor Supian Suri emphasised that residents should concentrate\ntakbir activities at their respective places of worship for collective\nsafety. \u201cTakbir processions using vehicles or on foot are not\npermitted,\u201d Supian stated on Sunday (15\/3). He requested that all\nreligious activities on the night of celebration be conducted solemnly\nwithin residential areas.
