The incident caused considerable alarm amongst nearby residents as it\noccurred at a healthcare facility and was perpetrated by a patient who\nhad just undergone tartar removal treatment.<\/p>\n
Police arrested the suspect on the same day, but the motive behind\nthe stabbing remains mysterious.<\/p>\n
The victim, who sustained injuries to the abdomen and hands, is still\nundergoing treatment with an improving condition.<\/p>\n
Jatiuwung Police Sub-District Commander Kompol Rabiin stated that MA\nhas admitted to the act during questioning. The suspect also confessed\nto bringing the knife used in the stabbing from home.<\/p>\n
However, police remain cautious in pursuing the suspect\u2019s account.\nAccording to Rabiin, during questioning, MA has largely remained silent,\npreventing investigators from fully determining the reason behind his\nactions.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are currently conducting in-depth questioning because when\nquestioned, he tends to remain silent. So we need to be very thorough\nand cautious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, more than two days on, the suspect continues to refuse to\nspeak regarding his purpose for committing the act.<\/p>\n
Based on preliminary investigation findings, MA came to the clinic as\na new patient to undergo tartar removal treatment. Rabiin stated that\nthe dentist who treated the suspect had no prior relationship or\ntreatment history with MA.<\/p>\n
