The suspect is alleged to have been spreading\npropaganda and conducting recruitment via social media. \u201cDensus 88\nAnti-terror Police carried out an enforcement action against a man with\nthe initials AR in the Ciamis Regency area, West Java, on Monday, 20\nJuly 2026,\u201d said Densus 88 Anti-terror Police spokesperson Senior\nCommissioner Mayndra Eka in a statement on Tuesday (21\/7\/2026). He\nstated that AR is strongly suspected of incitement and spreading radical\ncontent. Furthermore, the suspect also used social media platforms to\nrecruit new members. \u201cThis action is part of the law enforcement process\nbased on the results of an in-depth investigation into propaganda,\nrecruitment, and incitement activities via social media platforms,\u201d\nMayndra explained. Investigators found a number of digital items of\nevidence with the suspect. These materials contained narratives\njustifying acts of radicalism. \u201cInvestigators discovered the\ndissemination of various materials containing narratives of radicalism\nand terrorism, as well as the legitimisation of violence,\u201d Mayndra\nrevealed. Currently, Densus 88 is still conducting intensive\nexaminations of the suspect.
