        "content": "<p>Denpasar (ANTARA) - The Mayor of Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya\nNegara, stated that the enforcement of minor criminal offences\n(tipiring) related to waste management violations will be carried out\ngradually, prioritising an educational approach towards the community.\nJaya Negara said that the enforcement of regulations, including the\napplication of tipiring sanctions, will be implemented after services\nand supporting infrastructure are available optimally. He appreciated\nthe attention and support from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry\ntowards waste management efforts in Denpasar City, particularly the\nachievement of more than 60 percent of the community having carried out\nwaste separation at source. According to him, this achievement is the\nresult of collaborative efforts from various elements, starting from\ncustomary villages, regional apparatus, to environmental communities\nthat consistently educate the public. \u201cWe express our thanks for the\nappreciation given by the Minister. This becomes motivation for us in\nDenpasar City to continue strengthening the source separation movement,\u201d\nhe said. The Denpasar City Government, he continued, is intensifying\nsource-based waste management programmes, including the optimisation of\nfacilities such as the Kesiman Kertalangu Integrated Waste Processing\nSite (TPST), Tahura TPST, and Reduce\u2013Reuse\u2013Recycle Waste Management\nSites (TPS3R) at the village and sub-district levels.
