A total of 300\nstands have been prepared to exhibit products from regional MSMEs\nfostered by Dekranas at the event themed \u2018Sustainable Creative Works,\nArtisans Going Global\u2019, held from 9 to 12 July 2026 at Trans Studio Mall\nMakassar, South Sulawesi. Dekranas Daily Chairperson Tri Tito Karnavian\nsaid during a press conference at the Ministry of Communication and\nDigital Affairs office in Jakarta on Thursday that the event is intended\nto promote domestic products. \u2018We know that foreign products are now\nabundant and can even imitate Indonesian products at cheaper prices,\u2019\nshe said. \u2018With this exhibition, we hope the public will love domestic\nproducts, which are not inferior in terms of quality and creativity,\u2019\nshe added. She expressed hope that the exhibition would serve as a\nplatform for MSME players from 38 provinces to exchange experiences and\nmotivate each other to produce more creative, innovative, and\nhigh-quality works. Chairperson of the South Sulawesi Provincial\nRegional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda), Naoemi Octarina Sudirman,\nestimated that the event held at a shopping centre in Makassar would be\nattended by thousands of people. According to her, the peak celebration\nof Dekranas\u2019 anniversary in Makassar will include various activities,\nincluding exhibitions, cultural attractions, and the presentation of\nvarious culinary products. First Deputy Daily Chairperson of Dekranas,\nLoemongga Kartasasmita, stated that the peak celebration of Dekranas\u2019\n46th anniversary aligns with the government\u2019s efforts to develop local\nMSMEs.
