        "content": "<p>Bandung, West Java (ANTARA) - Defence industry state-owned enterprise\n(SOE) holding company DEFEND ID reported a 430.1% surge in consolidated\nnet profit for the 2025 fiscal year, reaching Rp913.05 billion. An\nexponential growth from last year\u2019s profit of just Rp172.24 billion was\ndriven by operational efficiencies and optimisation of national\nstrategic projects. In a statement received in Bandung, West Java, on\nWednesday, it was reported that the financial performance was formally\napproved at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held\nin Bandung on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, attended by the SOE Management Board\n(BP BUMN) and PT Danantara Asset Management as shareholders. Throughout\n2025, the holding company, which integrates capabilities across land,\nsea, air, ammunition, and defence electronics industries, secured total\ncontracts worth Rp113.85 trillion. This was supported by carryover\ncontracts worth Rp94.78 trillion and new contracts worth Rp19.07\ntrillion. The company\u2019s fundamental structure also showed significant\nstrengthening. DEFEND ID\u2019s assets surged 18.3% to Rp66.05 trillion, with\nequity growing 8.2% to Rp15.23 trillion. Based on evaluations, the\nholding\u2019s financial health is rated BBB+ with actual business income\nreaching Rp20.71 trillion. The holding\u2019s manufacturing strength is fully\nsupported by 11,022 employees, with over 60% deployed in production and\ntechnical (engineering) roles. In response to these positive trends, PT\nLen Industri (Persero) DEFEND ID has outlined a new corporate direction\nthrough the \u2018Astacita Len Industri\u2019 blueprint.
