        "content": "<p>The Defence Ministry (Kemhan) has announced that training for 4,000\ncivil servants to become members of the Reserve Component (Komcad) will\nbe conducted in two batches commencing in April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be carried out in April. We are currently in the\nregistration and enrolment phase in accordance with the 2019 Law on\nNational Resilience No.\u00a023,\u201d said Brigadier General Rico Ricardo Sirait,\nHead of Information at the Defence Ministry\u2019s General Secretariat, when\nconfirmed on Thursday (26 February).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that in the initial training phase, 2,000 civil servants\nwill receive training over a period of one and a half months.\nSubsequently, training will be provided to the remaining 2,000 civil\nservants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe training will be conducted in military units located in the\nJakarta region,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Rico emphasised that the training programme is voluntary and\nnon-compulsory. Participants will be drawn from 49 ministries and\nagencies, with quotas adjusted according to each institution\u2019s human\nresources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, if ministry A has 1,000 personnel and ministry B has\n500, then ministry A\u2019s quota might be only 50 people, and ministry B\nonly 10 people. The quota is adjusted according to the number of human\nresources in each institution,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Rico stated that civil servants participating in the training will\nalso be subject to selection.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purpose of the selection is to ensure that the individuals are\nin good health and to confirm they have no physical limitations.\nRegarding gender, whether male or female, that is left to each\ninstitution or ministry,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
