Director General of Defence\nForces at the Ministry of Defence, Air Vice-Marshal Hendrikus Haris\nHaryanto, stated that the development is part of preparations to welcome\nthe Italian-built carrier, which is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on\n20 September 2026. He noted that the port facility will be equipped with\nvarious operational support amenities, while the Indonesian Navy\ncontinues to accelerate the completion of infrastructure to ensure all\nfacilities are ready before the ship\u2019s arrival.
