Decree yet to be signed<\/p>\n
President Megawati Soekarnoputri is yet to sign a presidential
\ndecree confirming the appointment of a new Indonesian Bank
\nRestructuring Agency (IBRA) chairman, according to Metro TV.<\/p>\n
The TV station did not give details in its report on Sunday.<\/p>\n
State Minister of State Enterprises Laksamana Sukardi, who on
\nFriday said that he had dismissed IBRA chairman I Putu Gede Ary
\nSuta and replaced him with Syafruddin Temenggung, could not be
\nreached for comment.<\/p>\n
The Office of the State Minister of State Enterprises oversees
\nIBRA, but changing the agency's chairperson requires the approval
\nof the president.<\/p>\n
Deputy Cabinet Secretary Erman Rajagukguk said, \"As of Friday,
\nI had not seen the draft decree. But I don't know if it is going
\nto be signed (on Monday).\"<\/p>\n
A source at the palace said that Megawati had approved the
\nreshuffle at the key institution although she had yet to sign the
\npresidential decree.<\/p>\n
The source added that unless there were further big
\ndevelopments Syafruddin would still be installed as the new IBRA
\nchief on Monday.<\/p>\n
The source said that if Megawati changed her mind and
\nmaintained Ary Suta as IBRA chairman, Laksamana might resign from
\nhis post.<\/p>\n
\"It will be either that Ary Suta stays in power or Laksamana
